There is a bug in iOS 8 where artwork shown on the TV series view needs to be square in order to be displayed. From version 3.6 iVI creates square TV artwork by default and this version can be download from our website linked here.
For individual episodes in a season there's another bug preventing their thumbnail images from being shown but that's currently the same not only for files created with iVI but also those purchased from the App Store so we'll need to wait for Apple to fix that.
